THE ZONE The Zone was the primary amusement area of the fair. Filled with rides, concessions, exotic foods, games of skill and chance, performers and live shows -- many people considered this their favorite place to visit. There were all sorts of interesting things to see, including giant scale-models of Yellowstone Park and the Grand Canyon -- and a five-acre working replica of the Panama Canal. |
